The leather

The leathers used, originally raw, come from the best farms around the world specialized in various hides: from Yemen to Ethiopia for the kid, from North and South America for the deer, peccary and wild boar, from Africa for the crocodile, to Australia for the ostrich. Merino leathers come from England.

The leathers are then washed, bleached, dried and then dipped in the different shades.

For the kid, the colors available are 60, for all the other leathers - suede, deer, peccary, wild boar, crocodile, ostrich and merinos - the shades are decided on the basis of fashion colors.

Not just leather, haute couture for the hands

The demand for cashmere, fur and silk lined gloves is increasing. Inside the Sermoneta laboratories there are craftsmen who are specialized not only in the processing of leather, but also of fabrics and various fashion materials.

Buckles, bows, leather buttons, jewel buttons, zippers, sequins, rhinestones and other imaginative elements complete and personalize each Sermoneta glove with an exclusive touch.
